A close friend lost,
Handled a boss irate,
Reached home late,
A mother's fury faced,
A silly lover's tiff,
Break-up scare whiffed,
A father's glare stiff,
Met with quivering eyes,
Jealousy at work,
Envy at play,
Time stubborn
Refused to stay,
The day spent worrying,
The night tossing and turning,
Wrinkles lined youthful eyes
Creases marked shiny heads
Deep in thought I walked lost,
Insomnia my religion,
Stop worrying I can, I will
How to stop?, I frowned again...
The answer found,
Bed and pillow bound,
The only night I slept in peace
Was the night I stopped caring...
