I looked at you standing there
Through the crack in my curtain
Staring, peeping, looking
The cloth slipped through my fingers
The curtains fell in place
The look on your face
Made my heart hammer
I hid, I rubbed my eyes
I slid the curtain apart and looked again
Yes, it was you
Right there in front of me
Walking the path before my door
Trying to look through
Trying to see me
You stood before my door
Wondering, thinking, wishing
You could ring the bell
Could gently knock
But you knew
It would not be answered
You would not be welcome
Not after what you did
There was still hope
I continued to look
As you moved to the balcony
Leaning against the rail
My palms sweaty now
Slipped on the fabric
As I rushed to the door
And took the phone
My voice shaky, angry
"Security, the crazy pool man
Is drunk and peeping into my room".

The Look

Man, Woman & Human
Eyes glazed, through the mind we speak,
Moving in tandem to the rhythm of the world,
Laughter forgotten, as after smiles we run,
One statement and many synonyms
And yet, we're confused coz as we know
Sometimes words have no meaning...
The pictures painted on the wall
Speak, but no sounds come out,
In a dual world today we live,
Praying stone idols with ashen hearts,
And love they say is a feeling alien to me,
Creatures of habit we remain to be
Some things are best left unsaid,
And unspoken thoughts, we write them down
Deep down however, what are we?
"Perhaps you'll never know...
Coz maybe, I'll never show."

The Great Feast
It slid down the throat
Flavoured perfectly
Spices and herbs
Intermingling
The smell arose
Tantalising
Fresh, juicy
The fork cut through
Pink flesh
Roasted perfectly
The moans arose
As lips tasted
Sweet sweet skin
Manners forgotten
Gluttony, no sin
Spoons clattered
Empty vessels laid
To rest
Stomachs groaning
Desires still raged
Exotic feast
As it ended
She looked towards him
"What was it?
So fine, so rare
Food
A carnal longing
What beast stirred
Our desires so?"
Chucking, shrewd eyes
He gracefully blushed
"You flatter me
Madame
Pray, tell me
Why did he,
The flautist
Not attend?"

Smile Please!
It kills to smile when you only really want to cry
It pains to lie, when you want to just curl up and die
But wish the heart a fond goodbye
And let your mind squeeze your feelings dry
Coz you are what you choose to be
A strong iron maiden or a cry baby
So walk the path with your head held high
And you might succeed, if you just try...

Lady Moonshine
Lady Moonshine love me not...
Lady moonshine in her sparkly robe
Twirled and swirled and called me hither;
Lady Moonshine love me not...
Whispering, giggling, blushing eyes
Mesmerised me, enthralled me, pulling deeper;
Lady Moonshine love me not...
She held my hand, brushed my lips,
She caressed my tongue, kissed my head,
Lady Moonshine love me not...
I lay there spent; gasping, waiting
Running my fingers through her red red hair
Lady Moonshine love me not...
I begged for mercy, I cried in pain
She ravaged me with her beautiful lips
Lady Moonshine love me not...
I felt a shudder, a chill pass through me
I slackened my hold, the bottle slipped away
Lady Moonshine let me live...
